Local farmers connect with schools and schools connect with farmers at these informal, events to help schools grow their local food programs.

Join food safety and food preservation experts from the University of Minnesota Extension throughout the year to learn how to safely handle and prepare food. Whether you are a grower, operate a food business, or preserve foods for your own use, these webinars are for you.

Connect with other fruit and vegetable growers to build relationships, reflect on the growing season, share insights and new ideas, learn about ongoing research in fruit and vegetables, and build future collaborations.

Master Gardener Food Preservation Consultant volunteers are available to answer questions and distribute materials on how to safely preserve food at home.

The Produce Safety Rule, part of the federal Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), requires that fruit and vegetable farms that grow, pack, harvest or hold produce and that do not qualify for an exemption or exclusion from the Rule attend this training.

Serve It Up Safely™ online course is a convenient, effective way to meet the State of Minnesota's four-hour requirement for renewing food manager certification. Our course can also be used for employee food safety training.
