Current work, research and interests
Jacquie provides leadership in educational design, development, and implementation of the 4-H youth development program as it relates to our learning and leading agenda. She also helps guide the operations of the 4-H Youth Development program.
While pursuing her undergraduate degree, she served two terms in AmeriCorps which led to her interim appointment as Buena Vista University's director of community service. She then worked at the University of South Dakota where she directed the service-learning, civic engagement, and undergraduate research programs and activities.
Academic degrees and experience
- M.S. in interdisciplinary studies: international leadership, service, and sustainability, through a joint degree program with Portland State University and the International Partnership for Service-Learning and Leadership.
- B.A. in leadership communication and philosophy & religion from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa.
