Brad Rugg Rugg has spent much of his 4-H career evaluating animal science-based recognition programs, developing strategies and implementing programs that recognize "purple ribbon kids" above "purple ribbon animals."
Under his leadership, Minnesota 4-H has aggressively created a proactive approach to livestock issues and ethics including mandatory interviews for over 2,300 Minnesota State Fair 4-H livestock exhibitors annually and certification in a livestock quality assurance and livestock ethics curriculum he co-authored.
