Yoha Christianson started at Extension as a community nutrition educator in 2012. Through the Expanded Food and Nutrition Education Program (EFNEP), he typically works with adults or young adults in Ramsey County. Yoha teaches health and nutrition classes, and also provides education via home visits for refugees and immigrants. He speaks six languages: Karen (Poe and Sqaw), Thai, Lao, Burmese, and English. Prior to joining Extension, Yoha worked with the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, also known as the UN Refugee Agency.
Yoha graduated from Noh Bo Academy and completed some college coursework through a Further Students Program in Thailand.
