We dig bugs is a weekly summer program where youth learn about insects and entomology. You will catch and release insects, build models, explore the environment, learn about metamorphosis and life cycles, and much more.
This program is sponsored by Carver County 4-H and is funded in part by the 4-H Helping Hands program.
Schedule
Kick-off night for youth and parents will be on Sunday, June 2, 4-5:00 PM at the Carver County Public Works Building, 11360 Hwy 212 W, Cologne, MN 55322.
The rest of the sessions will be held 9-11:30 a.m. on the following dates at the Bayview Elementary School (second grade commons) in Waconia:
- Session 1: Tuesday, June 4
- Session 2: Tuesday, June 11
- Session 3: Tuesday, June 18
- Session 4: Tuesday, June 25
- Session 5: Tuesday, July 9
- Session 6: Tuesday, July 16
- Session 7: Tuesday, July 23
- Session 8: Tuesday, July 30
- Session 9: Wednesday, Aug. 7 - Our celebration day at the Carver County Fair, time TBD.
- Plus two optional events, date and time still pending++
Audience
Carver County 4-H members in grades 3 and older.
