Resources for you to use before and during the state fair will be posted on this page as they become available. Please check back often to get the latest information.

 

4-H general information & procedures

4-H summer employment opportunities

A variety of employment are available at 4-H state-level summer events.

Applications are accepted up to five working days prior to the event. Priority will be given to applications received by June 1.

4-H rules & premiums: 2014 4-H State Fair Premium Book will be available in early June

4-H State Fair Premium Book 2013 Updated 7/12/13 with change to small engines rules (page 81), Updated 6/18/13 to change accept size of food preservation jars (page 78), Updated 6/11/13 to include codes for Poultry and Rabbit Posters
Reminder the 4-H State Fair Premium Book will ONLY be available electronically in 2013

Acknowledgement of rules
All 4-H state fair participants are required to sign Form 41 (provided by their county) acknowledging that they will abide by the State Fair Competitive Exhibit Rules during the fair. View acknowledgement of rules

2014 Performing Arts Judging Schedules below (for specific needs or questions, contact 4-H Activities office at the state fair 651-643-6394 or your extension office) available August 21, 2013
Exhibitors must attend orientation before project judging.

  • Exhibitor Orientation at 5:15, Erickson stage (2nd floor, 4-H building) Aug. 24, 26, 28, & 30. Project Judging 5:00 - 9:00 pm Aug. 24, 26, 28, & 30.
  • No specific times will be assigned before general encampments begin.
