Communications & Demonstrations

Learn how to express yourself and communicate better. Nonverbal, verbal, and written activities will stretch and strengthen your communications skills, whether you're talking to a friend, writing, or making a presentation to a group. Learn about communication careers, writing resumes, interviewing for a job, dealing with anxiety and much more. New to 4-H? Get involved in the Communications and Demonstrations project!

What you can do

Level 1: Communications Module 1

Communication preferences, active listening, identifying aggressive communication, using visual aids, making introductions, and writing letters and songs.

Level 2: Communications Module 2

Conflict resolution, online communications and social media, cultural differences in communication, writing thank you notes, press releases, and speeches, and careers in communications. 

Level 3: Communications Module 3

Understand interpersonal electronic communication usage, evaluating advertisements, writing resumes and cover letters, safety in online communication, leadership and teamwork, and digital storytelling.
