Paint Horse Essay Contest

Weanling Paint Horse donated by Jeff and Sheryl Pullin, owners of J Bars Horse Company, Luck, Wisc.

The University of Minnesota 4-H Youth Development Program along with Crowe’s Nest Quarter Horses announces the annual "Win A Paint" competition, open to all Minnesota 4-H members actively involved in the 4-H project.

The J Bars Horse Company have been breeding, training and showing paints and Quarter horses for over 20 years. They are a family operated business that has yielded huge results in the show ring. They now have specialized in halter horses but have many wins in the lunge line and western pleasure. They have earned several ROMs and Superiors with their horses and strive for a horse that their complete family can show. They have earned points in youth, amateur and open events. They show at the Minnesota State Fair yearly and have several numbers of Grand Champions. Their horses come from generations of winners and they still carry the bloodlines that they began their business with. Hopefully the lucky winner will enjoy their horse as much as they have enjoyed their horses!
