Minnesota 4-H Lama Judging Clinic


This exciting training is designed for those already judging county fair 4-H lama shows as well as those who would like to get started.
The day will include: a focus on individual placing and ribbon distribution in classes common to county fair settings, State Fair line-ups and specific lama classes.

There will also be a session emphasizing the youth development aspect of livestock judging.
This session will include practical tips on working with kids in animal settings, fees, dress codes and other helpful ideas to prepare you for a county fair livestock judging experience.

Open to current judges and prospective judges of 4-H lama shows

Registration begins at 9 a.m. with the program beginning promptly at 9:30 a.m. Lunch will be provided. Evaluation and departure are planned for 3:30 and 4:00 p.m. respectively.
Those attending the training clinic will be added to the judges list and forwarded to 4-H staff and county volunteer groups selecting county fair judges.

$25 fee is for Lama Curriculum and lunch. 4-H Lama Judges trained in 2010 can register for a reduced fee of $10 and not receive curriculum.
