Margo focuses on creating STEM opportunities in youth development programs in the Northwest region. As Minnesota 4-H expands its STEM offerings and opportunities, Margo will be focusing on developing new partnerships including recruitment and support of new volunteers and programs. Michael Compton

Michael serves as the science of agriculture and STEM director and is based out of the Worthington regional office. His role focuses on program delivery, volunteer recruitment, designing and developing of educational programs and curricula, collaborating with the 4-H Foundation to seek donors and partners, and providing leadership to both the science of agriculture and STEM state teams. Mark Haugen

Mark leads 4-H science programs, and works with people across Minnesota on new ways to teach and learn science. He works in the St. Cloud Extension office. Read more about Mark Haugen.


Patrick Jirik

Patrick is on the team that developed the Minnesota 4-H Aquatic Robotics program, using an underwater SeaPerch remote vehicle (ROV) to teach youth about engineering design and water quality. He works in the Rochester Regional office. Read more about Patrick Jirik.

Rebecca Meyer

Becky's programs have focused on environmental and science education in schools and in non-formal settings, including camps and nature areas. She lives in Duluth and works in the Cloquet Regional office. Read more about Becky Meyer.
