Current work, research and interests
Jason provides leadership in event strategy, design and implementation, ensuring event quality and risk management practices are met. He provides management to event resources and staff, providing expertise in logistics and operations. He also provides support and guidance to the Minnesota 4-H Ambassador program.
Prior to joining the team at the Center for Youth Development, Jason spent 6.5 years managing events and youth programs at the National Youth Leadership Council. In his free time he serves as the district administrator for the Minnesota-Dakotas district of Circle K International where he mentors student leaders to develop events and programs. Circle K is a Kiwanis International sponsored program and is the worlds largest student-led service organization for college students.
As a senior at the College of Wooster, Jason served as international president for Circle K, leading more than 14,000 students world-wide. Jason is passionate about creating meaningful events and experiences for students to foster their leadership. In 2017, Jason was named one of Connect Association's 40 under 40 meeting and event planners.
