Senior communications specialist
Current work, research and interests
Erin was raised in a family that used stories to teach, entertain, and ensure a healthy fear of the Loch Ness Monster and dust bunnies. Her dad and grandpa were especially effective storytellers, developing in the family's children a passion for precise language and outrageous characters. Her mom, a lover of books and all things history, taught Erin that the cross-section of curiosity and reading was exactly where joyful lifelong learning could be experienced.
Erin loves using stories to help people and organizations see their potential. She believes our personal stories are powerful. They can help us connect with others and find community. She edits and writes for Minnesota 4-H News and Minnesota 4-H Foundation News.
Outside of the office, Erin is a reader, community member, spouse, parent, friend, strategic thinker, and tea drinker. For a peek into her world, follow her on Twitter @ekellycollins.
