Anne Stevenson

Extension educator

Current work, research and interests

Anne StevensonAnne’s work focuses on volunteer systems development, creating engaging learning environments and experiences for both youth and adult learners, inquiry-based learning and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & applied Math). She gives leadership to the design, development and delivery of training and educational experiences for Minnesota volunteers and 4-H youth, as well as professional youth workers and educators.

She loves to teach hands-on workshops on inquiry and science, as well as increasing program quality through experiential activities focused on reflective learning and engagement. She always gets excited when she can share in someone’s sense of wonder and curiosity.

Anne has worked in Extension for 20+ years, with prior experiences as a residence hall director and instructor at St. Cloud State University, and as a program associate with the National Association of Secondary School Principal’s division of student activities.
