TURF        PATCH DISEASES



MATTED, COLORED PATCHES OF GRASS

(Occurs occasionally)
Straw colored, circular patches of matted grass occur after snow melt. Patches may be covered with white, gray or pink fungal growth.

SMALL, ROUND PATCHES
(Occurs infrequently)
Bleached or tan, circular patches less than 6 inches in diameter. Infected grass has hourglass-shaped spots with red margins on the leaves.

CIRCULAR TO IRREGULAR SHAPED PATCHES
(Occurs occasionally)
Circular to irregular shaped patches (up to 3 feet in diameter) of dead, brown grass.
