POWDERY MILDEW

White to gray powdery cast on leaves, stems and/or buds and flowers.

BOTRYTIS

Water-soaked lesions may appear on leaves or flowers. As disease progresses, any upper plant part may become blighted and coverd with a grey, fuzzy mold.

FUNGAL LEAF SPOT

Brown spots appear on foliage. Spots could be in a target pattern (concentric rings), be bordered by red rings, or have small black dots within the dead tissue.

BACTERIAL LEAF SPOT

Brown spots appear on foliage. Spots could be small or large and are frequently water-soaked (translucent) with a yellow halo. Leaf margins may turn brown.

FLUORIDE TOXICITY

Margins and tips of leaves turn yellow and/or brown. In some plants, elliptical, brown lesions form between the leaf veins.

SOOTY MOLD

A black film develops on leaves or stems, and can easily be wiped off with a moist towel.

VIRUSES

Viruses may cause many different types of symptoms on plants, such as theses brown ring spots. Other symptoms may include dwarfed plants, and cupped, crinkled, or mottled leaves

OEDEMA

Pale green or water-soaked blisters or bumps erupt and turn brown or black, and may have a corky appearance.
