REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!! The 13th annual Garden Expo will be on Saturday, April 5th at Central Lakes College in Brainerd from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
The following twenty two different break-out classes will be facilitated: Introduction to Asexual Plant Propagation, Edible Landscaping: Incorporating Fruits and Vegetables in the Home Landscape, Go Wild for Monarchs, The Moon Garden, Care and Pruning for Your Apple Trees, Planning the Perfect Garden, Lilies 101, Underused Perennials and Shrubs, Color from Spring to Fall, Part One: Using Succession Planting to Enhance Your Perennial Garden, Straw Bale Gardening – What’s The Buzz?, The Dirt on Garden Soils, Inviting Pollinators to Your Yard: Using Natives in Your Home Landscape, Herbs for Use and Delight, Color from Spring to Fall, Part Two: The Best of Everything Else, Bring Out the Bulbs, Colorful Containers All Season Long, Growing Grapes in Central Minnesota, Miniature Gardens, Home Composting: Indoors and Out, Hosta: Selecting and Growing the Most Popular Shade Perennial, Garden Harvest: Tips for the Table, Growing Great Tomatoes.
The $30 fee includes admission, boxed lunch, as well as morning and afternoon snacks. The registration form is now posted at z.umn.edu/crowwingmgs. Deadline to register is March 21 of 2014 but register early since space is limited!!
