dog01zip.exe - 2001 Regional Dog Show, v6.2 7/26/2001 (173.5 KB self-extracting file).: Download this file to a folder on your hard drive named DOGS2001. (If you haven't done this, create a folder on the hard drive of a Win95/Win98/ME workstation and download or copy this file there.) Inflate the file by entering DOG01ZIP at a DOS prompt or double-clicking it using the My Computer desktop icon. Documentation is in MS-Word file DOGS2001.DOC. Please read the instructions before attempting to use the software.
shoot02.exe - 2002 4-H State Shoot Registration V4.5 7/02 (165 KB self-extracting file): Contains updated software to register your 4-H members in the 2002 4-H Shooting Sports/Wildlife Invitational. This event will be held on September 7th and 8th in Jackson, MN. This self-extracting ZIP file and installation instructions were e-mailed to all county offices on 7/11/02. Instructions for using this software are contained in MS-Word 2000 file SHOOT02.DOC. This MS-Word file is one of the files that are inflated to your hard drive during installation.

Pegasus Mail (PMail)

This electronic mail program is free, support costs are covered through the sale of the manuals. We have purchased a license for distributing manuals within Extension.

pmbooks.zip - Extension Addressbooks Updated Daily (93 KB Zip file)

Contains the current set of the Extension Service Pegasus Mail addressbooks.

outbooks.exe - Extension Addressbooks for MS Outlook 09/21/02 (668 KB self-extracting file)

Contains a Personal Folder File for Outlook with the four Extension addressbooks. Follow these steps to add into Outlook:

Download the self-extracting file and save in your temp folder (i.e. c:\temp).
Run the file and extract the personal folder file (extension.pst) to your hard drive (suggested location is c:\Extension Addressbooks).
Open Outlook and have the 'Folder List' window available (View | Folder List).
Ensure that 'Outlook Today' is highlighted in the 'Folder List' window.
Right-click on a blank area in the 'Folder List' window.
Select 'Open Personal Folders File (.pst)...'
Find and open extension.pst

As future versions of the addressbook are available you need only do steps 1 and 2 above. Outlook must be closed during this process.

If the addressbooks are not available for use when clicking on the 'To:' button from within a mail message follow these steps:

Right-click on the addressbook in the 'Folder List' window
Select 'Properties'.
Select the 'Outlook Address Book' tab.
Ensure the 'Show this folder as an e-mail Address Book' box is checked.
Click 'Ok' to close the 'Properties' box.

csvbooks.zip - Extension Addressbooks in Comma Separated Value (CSV) Format Updated Daily (44 KB Zip file)

Contains CSV text files for the five Extension addressbooks. This files are for people interested in trying to import the addressbooks into mailing programs other than Pegasus Mail and MS Outlook. The first line in each file contains the field names. Only minimal support is provided for importing this data into other mail programs.

w32-402.exe - WinPMail ver. 4.02 (32-bit - Win95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP) (3.8 MB self-installing file)

Pegasus Mail is an e-mail client that runs on computers using Microsoft Windows. If used in a Novell environment you MUST have the Novell Client 32 for Win95, it will not work with the Microsoft Netware client.

wpp-402a.zip - WinPMail v4.02a patch (32-bit - Win95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP) (1.35 MB Zip file)

Patches and occasional updates to Pegasus Mail are provided from time to time to address problems or add minor features outside our normal development cycle. Patches do not have an installer - you need to be handy with a ZIP utility such as WinZIP to install them. In general, we recommend that only reasonably experienced users install patch versions on their systems. A readme.txt is included that contains installation instructions.

wpmnds21.zip - Novell NetWare NDS Support for Pegasus Mail. (292 KB Zip file)

This module contains the utilities necessary to prepare a NetWare NDS system for use with Pegasus Mail, and also include the files necessary to run Pegasus Mail for Windows in NDS mode on a NetWare NDS-based system. This module is version 2.1, supports Pegasus Mail for Windows (both 16- and 32-bit versions), and has been tested on NetWare 4.10 and higher, including NetWare 5.

pptemplates.exe - Extension Templates for PowerPoint 2000 (340 KB self-extracting file): These PowerPoint templates include the Extension Wordmark and are for use with PowerPoint 2000.
advppt.exe - Advanced PowerPoint '97 Materials (273 KB self-extracting file): These materials provided by Karen Matthes are for the attendees of the Advanced PowerPoint '97 training session at the 1998 Annual Conference.

These are programs that we have found useful. They are placed here for your ease of access. Some of the programs are free for use by educational institutions, which includes Extension, and others are shareware or trial versions. Please scan the licensing information and pay for software that you use.

ar505enu.exe - Adobe Acrobat Reader ver. 5.05 (Windows 98/ME/NT/2000) (8.8 MB self-installing file): Adobe® Acrobat® Reader is free, and freely distributable, software that lets you view and print Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files. With Acrobat Reader, you also can fill in and submit PDF forms online, as well as download encrypted content from the Web and unlock it with Web Buy. Items in PDF format are indicated on this server by this icon:
ewan1052.exe - EWAN Telnet Program ver. 1.052 (272 KB self-extracting file): Contains the components neccesary to install the EWAN Telnet program. EWAN (Emulator Without A good Name) is a Winsock application that can be used to communicate with remote computers.
HomeSite_5_Trial_Installer.exe - Macromedia HomeSite ver. 5 (Windows 98/ME/NT/2000) (16.8 MB self-installing file): HomeSite 5 is the award-winning HTML editor that helps you build great Web pages faster.

After using this evaluation version for the defined trial period, the user must purchase a licensed copy or remove the evaluation version from their system.
73_win_client_en.exe - Meeting Maker client ver. 7.3 (Windows 9x/NT/2000) (5 MB ZIP file): Meeting Maker client is used to connect to the Meeting Maker scheduling server.; **This is not required if you are connecting through the web via the Java client.**
cc32d461.exe - Netscape Communicator ver. 4.61 (Windows 95/98/NT) (15.5 MB self-installing file): Netscape Communicator suite which includes Navigator, Messenger, Collabra, and Composer.
psp704ev.exe - Paint Shop Pro ver. 7 (Windows 95/98/NT4/2000/XP) (31.6 MB self-installing file): Paint Shop Pro is a graphics powerhouse that contains the tools you need to paint, edit, and retouch your images, plus a browser to help manage your graphics files. Import photos from scanners and digital cameras, create images for brochures and newsletters, and design snazzy-looking Web graphics. Advanced features include editable text with character-level formatting, vector drawing tools, object manipulation and node editing, and multiple-color gradients. txpeng450.exe - TextPad ver. 4.5.0 (Windows 98/ME/NT/2000) (2.6 MB self-installing file): the text editor for Windows TextPad ® is a powerful, general purpose editor for plain text files. Easy to use, with all the features a power user requires.

winzip80.exe - WinZip ver. 8.0 (Windows 98/ME/NT/2000) (1.2 MB self-installing file): WinZip brings the convenience of Windows to the use of Zip files and other archive and compression formats. The optional wizard interface makes unzipping easier than ever. WinZip features built-in support for popular Internet file formats, including CAB, TAR, gzip, Unix compress, UUencode, BinHex, and MIME. ARJ, LZH, and ARC files are supported via external programs. WinZip interfaces to most virus scanners.
