U-Lead Advisory Academy

The Mission

The mission of the U-Lead Advisory Academy is to grow Extension stakeholders' leadership skills, knowledge and networks, and link Extension stakeholders to University of Minnesota resources.

The Participants

Congratulations, graduates of the U-Lead Advisory Academy, 2013! We are not currently recruiting ULAA participants. Stay tuned!

In the past, participants have included Extension stakeholders such as:
(18 and older)

  • County Extension Committee members
  • Statewide Citizen Advisory Committee members
  • County Commissioners
  • County Administrators and Auditors
  • Program Volunteers and Partners, including: Master Gardeners, Master Naturalists, Shoreland Volunteers, 4-H Volunteers, Horizons Participants, U of M Regional Sustainable Development Partnerships board members, Research and Outreach Center Advisory Members
  • Extension Staff (Note: No more than 10% of participants will be Extension staff.)
We invite partners from across all of our program areas to continue to make this a diverse group -- food, agriculture and natural resources, community vitality, family development and youth development.
