If there are images used on more than one page, they should be placed in an img folder farther up in the hierarchy.

Folder and file naming

Names should mean something, both to people and search engines

Use hyphens between words

Use all lower-case

When reasonable, use the full page title

Some of our titles are not conducive to this, so also call upon your judgment.

It is OK to leave out repeating words if including them is unnecessarily repetitive

Page title and breadcrumbs

Proper document title

The text for the title, breadcrumbs, h1, and left nav item should all be the same.

Proper title and breadcrumb structure
