Pork producers affirm their commitment to building and maintaining the trust of customers and the public in their products and their practices. Developing an animal welfare program is an important step in ensuring animal well-being and maintaining public trust.  Resources have been developed to assist producers with developing an animal welfare program in their operation.  The topics to be addressed in this webinar include:

  • Selecting and hiring an animal caretaker
  • Tools and strategies for implementing a training program
  • Additional resources to assist in development of an animal welfare program
