Riverland Tourism Conferences

Riverland Association believes as communities realize the value of tourism, they become better stewards and work toward sustaining their communities. Better skills in areas of marketing, customer service, event planning and sustainable tourism translates to better generation of dollars in our region.

Riverland Tourism Association has planned and hosted a tourism conference in the region each spring.  These conferences focus on building capacity in the tourism sector in northwestern Minnesota.  Some of the themes addressed are listed below:
2009 - Making Dollars and Sense
2010 - Welcome Canadians - Understanding the Canadian Market
2011 - New Directions in Tourism
2012 - Growing Tourism
2013 - Travelers - Making the Buck Stop Here
