Western Corn Rootworm
Western corn rootworm	Size	1/6 - *#188; inch long
	Where/when	Active from July through August. Feeds primarily on corn (silk, foliage, kernels), and also on squash and melons. Often confused with the striped cucumber beetle.
	Significance	These beetles stick mainly to cornfields and generally are not a problem in home gardens.
