Red Turnip Beetle
	Size	½ inch long
	Where/when	Active from early June through early July. May also be seen from late July through early August. Feeds primarily on plants in the mustard family (turnips, cabbage, radish, etc.). More prevalent in areas with sandy soils.
	Significance	Can defoliate plants when large numbers are present, reducing plant vigor, plant size and yield. However, high numbers only occur sporadically.
