Appearance: ¼ inch long
Where/When: Active from late May or early June to early July. Feeds primarily on perennials. Also on trees, shrubs, and annuals.
Significance:

Feeding creates round, sunken, dark spots. Damage is primarily aesthetic. Plants are not normally seriously injured.
