House Fly

	Where/When	They occur anywhere they can find food, which includes garbage, manure, and decaying vegetation. They occur primarily in the spring and summer.
	Significance	They are a nuisance especially when they occur in large numbers. They can leave fecal spots on surfaces where they walk. They can also mechanically transmit disease, such as diarrhea and dysentery, to people.
