Field Ant

	Where/when	Occasionally found indoors during the summer, although it may be found indoors at other times of the year.
	Significance	This is an outdoor species that occasionally enters homes. It doesn't nest indoors (it nests outdoors in the soil) and is primarily a nuisance. It is similar in size and color with carpenter ants and may be confused as one.
