Fusarium on Hosta HOSTA               FUSARIUM Leaf spots are caused by several different species of fungi. They may affect stems, leaves and flowers.

Method of dispersal: Wind & rain
Infection point: Leaves

Control Measures
Control: Improve air circulation to promote drying of moisture on leaves. Remove any diseased leaves to prevent spread, cutting the stems at ground level and removing debris.
Comments: Thorough sanitation and minimizing overhead watering should control these diseases.
