JUNIPER/E. RED CEDAR

The problem you have chosen may be caused by Botryosphaeria canker or other root diseases.

Botryosphaeria Canker:
Dead branches, girdled by cankers, develop brown leaves. Cankers are often elongate and flat, but difficult to detect.

Root disease:
Examine the roots for signs of rot. Small roots will be soft, brown, and non-fibrous (no feeder roots). Large, woody roots will be soft and punky.
