Master Gardener
Plant Research Evaluation Program (PREP)
2003: Focus on Plant Diseases

What it is

Have you ever wondered about a Phlox named 'David'? Did you wonder why it was named or why it performed better, and had less powdery mildew than other phlox? Would you like to evaluate perennials prior to buying them for your own yard or nursery? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you may wish to enroll in the Plant Research and Evaluation Program.

  For who is it intended:

The Master Gardener Plant Research Evaluation Program (PREP) debuted in 2003 as an advanced training opportunity primarily for volunteer Master Gardeners and green industry personnel especially those in nursery production and retailing functions.
