	Where/when	Active from late April through June and July through August. This insect primarily attacks buds and leaves of wild and cultivated grapevines and Virginia creepers.
	Significance	Tunnels into buds in spring, killing them. Generally not very common although can become numerous in localized areas and cause significant damage. Leaf feeding later in summer not important
