Northern Corn Rootworm
Northern corn rootworm	Size	1/6-¼ inch long
	Where/when	Active from July through August. Feeds mainly on corn (kernel, silk) and other related grass (mostly agricultural plants) as well as blossoms of some flowers (e.g. goldenrod).
	Significance	These beetles feed primarily in cornfields and generally are not a problem in home gardens.
