Information About 2nd and 3rd Attempts...
for the 2013 ONLINE Private Applicator Certification Exam
This section is only for those who fail their first or second attempt at the exam.
Please do not attempt to take the exam a second or third time if you have passed with an 80% score or better. Doing so will cause your certification to not go through the system properly and you will not receive your certification.
-
When you make a second or third attempt to pass the exam, the same exam that you took before will show up when you click on "Re-attempt Quiz."
-
Once you are into your second or third attempt, look through the answers you selected the first time and make changes to those you think you got wrong.
-
Review the manual and answer questions based on the manual instead of quickly guessing what you got wrong.
-
Remember you only get three attempts total. You will need to wait until next year to try again if you fail the exam three times.
IMPORTANT: On your second or third attempt, there is a glitch in the current Moodle 2.0 program which makes it look as though you have not saved your answered questions, so read this carefully and call us if you have any questions.
-
Be sure to occasionally save your answers by clicking on "Save My Answers."
-
Answers you change will show up as "Answer Saved" once you save them.
-
Questions where you have not changed your original answer will show up as "Not Yet Answered." As long as you click on "Save and Continue" at the very bottom of the page before submitting your second or third attempt it will save those answers too.
-
Once you complete all of the questions in your second or third attempt, YOU MUST BE SURE TO CLICK ON: "Save and Continue."
-
On the next screen, scroll to the bottom and select "Submit all and finish". It will score your exam and you will know immediately if you have passed or not.
- If you have any questions about making a second or third attempt on the exam call Tana Haugen-Brown 763-260-4423 or Mary Kay Ferguson 612-625-4271
