Individuals who are seeking a new license* and complete the following will be a licensed Minnesota Commercial Applicator for applying the pesticide Plantskydd Soluble Powder Concentrate to trees to repel deer at the end of the workshop:
1. Provide the MN Dept. of Ag by August, 24, 2009**:
a) Names of persons who want a license
b) Their home address
c) Each person's social security number

2. Complete a 2009 New Pesticide Applicator License Application form for commercial pesticide applicator in Category T online (click here and choose commercial pesticide applicator) no later than September 7, 2009**
3. Complete event registration with the University of Minnesota Extension by Sept. 9, 2009.
4. Attend entire event and complete exam with a 70% passing score.
* If you need to attend for recertification in Category T contact Kay Sargent at the MN Dept. of Ag. first and then register for the event with the University of Minnesota

Change in registration fee (cancellation, substitution of a person, etc.): $35.00
Must cancel one working day prior to workshop (Sept 14. 2009) or no refund of registration fee.
If do not attend and do not cancel prior to workshop there is no refund of registration fee.

University of Minnesota ExtensionA Category T license is only for the application of pesticide Plantskydd Soluble Powder Concentrate to trees for repelling deer. Someone licensed only in Category T may not apply any other pesticide (including other formulations of Plantskydd or other dried blood pesticides) and may not apply Plantskydd Soluble Powder Concentrate for any other purpose to customer or client land or sites as a 'service for hire.'
