Dog training begins with orientation scheduled for Tuesday, April 2 at Hooley Hall beginning at 6 p.m. All dog project members and a parent are expected to attend this orientation, even if you have participated in previous years. If you are unable to attend orientation, please register for training and the Dog project so we know who is interested.
You cannot start training without proper vaccinations and a completed Dog ID form. All dogs' shots must be up to date and signed by your veterinarian.
We will have a dog training demonstration day on Tuesday, April 9 at Hooley Hall at 6 p.m. that we encourage you to attend as well to get more of a feel regarding what the classes actually are. The schedule will be explained more fully at orientation with training starting the following week, weather permitting.
