4-H clover Pine County 4-H Event Scholarship

Event scholarships are provided by the Pine County 4-H Council to enrolled Pine County 4-H members.  Members applying must have sold at least $100 of cheese, $100 of fruit, worked a full shift in the 4-H fair food stand, gave a demonstration at a 4-H event (club meeting, council meeting, county fair, etc.), and be willing to give back to the local 4-H program to be eligible for the scholarship.  There is no limit to how many scholarships a member can receive in one year!

Members can either apply for the scholarship prior to the event or be reimbursed after the event.  To be reimbursed after the event, the scholarship form must be submitted to the Pine County Extension Office within 30 days of the completion of the event or by Oct. 15, whichever comes first.

Prior to the event, the form must be submitted to the Pine County Extension Office along with your event registration form, applicable fees, and a check in the amount of the requested scholarship amount made payable to “Pine County 4-H”.  The check, in the amount of the requested scholarship (75% for general events or 100% for state earned trips), will be held until you successfully complete the event.  If the event is not attended the check will be cashed.

Scholarships are subject to approval and availability of funds.
