Youth will create a long lasting garden with the Kandiyohi County Master Gardeners at the Kandiyohi County Fairgrounds throughout this camp series.
Participants will
- Meet Master Gardeners.
- Learn about annuals and perennials.
- Design and plant a garden.
- Create decorative garden items.
- Understand garden maintenance and so much more!
Schedule
- Day 1: May 3 from 5 to 8 p.m. - Pizza served.
- Day 2: May 4 from 9 a.m. to noon
- Day 3: June 5 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Bring a packed lunch.
- Day 4: July 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. - Bring a packed lunch.
Open to all youth in grades K and up. Master Gardener volunteers will divide youth into groups.
Parents are welcome to attend the first two days.
