4-H clover Houston County 4-H Performing Arts

What you'll do

Develop and present stories through acting, mime, movement, puppetry and technical theater. Learn acting techniques and improvisation, costume and set design, makeup techniques and technical stage lighting and sound. And if you're musically inclined, write a musical, sing or play an instrument.

Performing Arts is judged Tuesday August, 16th starting at 10:00 am

Evening Performance:

This year, we will again be holding the combined Fashion Revue and Performing Arts performance the evening of the judging. This year it will be at the Houston County Fairgrounds, beginning at 6:00pm. Please contact the Extension Office Prior to Monday if you are not planning on participating in the program. Also, please plan to return by 5:30pm to prepare for the performance and to view the show order. We encourage you to invite family members and friends to this evening as we are planning to make this a community event. I hope you all will be able to participate in the evening.

There are two types of Performing Arts to choose from:

Performance-based

  • Sing a solo or duet
