Heart & Hooves Horsemanship is offering a two day clinic July 16 & 17, 2024. This clinic is open to youth in Grades 5+ (grades 3-4 must receive prior approval from Andrew Anderson). Youth must provide a horse with a current negative coggins. This clinic will focus on building a respectful connection between you and your horse through groundwork, horsemanship exercises and an equine obstacle course.
The clinic will be held at Heart & Hooves Horsemanship Arena, 36105 MN-06 in Deer River. Cost is $325 and includes a stall for your horse along with meals and snacks for participants. Horse Project Club members are eligible to receive a $100 scholarship towards the clinic's cost. Clinic hours are 8:00 - 4:00 pm on July 16th and 8:00 - 3:00 pm on July 17th. Registration runs March 20, 2024 - May 10, 2024. We must have a minimum of 10 participants in order to hold this clinic.
Make checks payable to: Heart & Hooves and mail to: Itasca County 4-H, 123 NE 4th St., Grand Raids, MN 55744 or drop off payment at the Extension Office, 1336 Fairgrounds Rd. We are open Monday through Friday, 8:00-4:30 pm.
