PROJECT STATEMENT

"The University of Minnesota Site Based Out of School Time Project will work with two community projects in three different sites. The purpose of the project will be to continue to enlarge the scope of our programming for at-risk children, youth, and families through a community based positive out of school time program focused towards new immigrant families. Youth will develop leadership skills, decision-making skills, and community navigation skills as they engage in positive out of school activities and opportunities."
