Don Bliss, PhD, Parasitologist for
MidAmerica Ag Research, will conduct a special parasite workshop for sheep and goat producers.
Dr. Bliss will cover topics such as parasite identification,
prevention, treatment, and pasture management strategies for parasite control.
This workshop includes an open lab session in the Vet Tech Clinic for those interested in conducting their own on-farm fecal analysis.
Goat producers will have an opportunity to send in samples before hand for a FREE fecal analysis. Results will be available at the workshop and you will have a chance to discuss the results in person with Dr. Bliss.
While mail in samples are encouraged, we will also accept same day sampling. Bring samples to the workshop. Time spent with Dr. Bliss will depend on the amount of participants with samples.
