Recognized in 2004 in Bee Culture magazine
for outstanding contributions to beekeeping
research and granted the James Hambleton Award for Outstanding
Research from the Eastern Apiculture Society in 2003, the
Bee Lab is in the forefront of modern beekeeping research.
The Bee Lab at the University of Minnesota has a long history
of research. Today, new challenges, including mites and small
hive beetles, along with the traditional diseases like American
foulbrood, are being researched. Discoveries and solutions
are passed directly to beekeepers through Educational
Opportunities and Resources. |
