Birch catkin feeder
Size: 1/8 inch long.

Where/When: Common on birch during August and September. Can be found clustered around windows and inadvertently entering homes.

Significance: Outdoors, it is harmless to trees. Indoors, it is also harmless to people and property but can be a nuisance by its presence. Can give off a bad smell.
