Garden fleahopper
Halticus bractatus
Size: 1/16 inch long

Where/When: Found on a variety of herbaceous plants as well as vegetables including squash, pumpkin, tomato, potato, and pepper. It is present June to August.

Significance: Injury usually just cosmetic. Numbers are rarely, if ever, severe to injury plants.
