Sunflower beetle
Zygogramma exclamationis
Size: 1/4 – 1/2 inch long

Where/When: Feeds on wild and cultivated sunflower. Starts to appear in May and is active until August.
Significance: Rarely a serious pest of sunflower in Minnesota.
