Size: 1/2 - 5/8 inch long

Where/When: Associated with dark, quiet, moist areas and spilled grain products in homes and other buildings. Present during spring and summer.

Significance: Generally just a nuisance when found in homes. Does not attack dried food products unless they are old and moldy.
