Size: 1/3 - 3/4 inch long
Description: Has an orange or yellow cephalothorax (first part of a spider including the head) and a large, bulbous abdomen that is usually bright orange, but may occasionally be pale yellow.
Where/When: Found in grassy and wooded areas in mid-summer to fall.
Significance: Beneficial as predators on insects. Does not harm people.
