Food Safety for Festival & Event Planners online course

The goal of the Food Safety for Festival & Event Planners online course is to increase your food safety knowledge to reduce foodborne illness risks at your festival or event. Topics include leadership and communication roles with food vendors and public health agencies, how to identify food safety hazards, licensing requirements for food vendors, and appropriate layout and design of event facilities.

What will you learn?

Participants will learn key food safety practices and methods to reduce foodborne illness risks and ensure a safe event. You will learn how to identify and control food safety hazards, licensing requirements for food vendors, and appropriate layout and design of event facilities.

Taught by food safety educator from University of Minnesota Extension, you'll benefit from their expertise and the experience from other course participants.
