Food Safety for Festival & Event Planners online course
Food safety at festivals and events is the 'timely topic' for the Spring 2015 Festival and Event Management online course.
What will you learn?
Participants will learn key food safety practices and methods to reduce foodborne illness risks and ensure a safe event. Topics include information about leadership roles as an overseer of the event's food vendors. Participants will learn how to identify and control food safety hazards, licensing requirements for food vendors, and appropriate layout and design of event facilities.
Taught by food safety educator from University of Minnesota Extension, you'll benefit from their expertise and the experience from other course participants.
What is required for this course?
The online Timely Topic course is offered March 30 to April 3, 2015.
The cost for this course is $99 if you register by March 9, 2015. $149 thereafter.
