Certification renewal for food managers
This course meets certification renewal requirements of the Minnesota Department of Health. We use the award winning Serve It Up Safely™ course developed by University of Minnesota Extension Educators.
The four-hour, hands-on, interactive course is packed with useful information on:
- food safety
- personal hygiene
- emerging trends in food preparation and handling
- preventing foodborne illness
This is an online, interactive course with videos, quizzes, and case studies to keep you engaged. At the end of each module, you will print a certificate worth one clock hour. Learn more about the online course.
Who should attend?
- Personnel of foodservice establishments who need to renew their Food Manager Certification.
Certifications require 4 hours of renewal education every three years.
