The Making the Connections for Minnesota-Grown Fresh Fruits and Vegetables pilot project worked with three Minnesota School Districts and their suppliers to increase the purchase of local fresh fruits and vegetables in the Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Program (FFVP) and to educate students and their families about the benefits of Minnesota grown produce.
