Are you looking for training or financial educator certification to better teach others about personal financial management? If so, then the Financial Educator Certificate Program is for you!

What You Will Learn

The Financial Educator Certificate Program equips community-based professionals with knowledge and skills to work with people to manage financial resources, build financial assets, and improve financial health and well-being. The course covers core financial concepts of earning, spending, saving, borrowing, and protecting. The course also includes an overview of financial behavior theory, financial education delivery methods, ethics, and program evaluation.

Through individual study and online interaction with cohort peers, participants will demonstrate mastery of core financial practices, including the ability to:

How the Course Works

This is a synchronous course, meaning participants take it along with a cohort of peers who are all learning the same concepts at the same time. A new module is presented every two to three weeks for most of the course. A final Capstone Project will be completed during the last month of the course.
